I got this to help my daughter get ready for the PSAT. Honestly, she is way smarter than me, so I just needed something that would actually challenge her and help her lock down a better method. This book was great.
It starts with a quick test to show you exactly what to work on and gives you super easy study schedules to follow. The questions range from basic to tough, which kept her on her toes. My favorite part is the answer key; it doesn't just give you a letter. It actually explains the logic so she could learn from her mistakes.
It also clears up all the confusing National Merit scholarship stuff and comes with awesome online extras like bonus vocab lists. She finished up with the full practice test at the end to get her timing down.
Skip the eBook and buy the print version. Flipping between long text passages, questions, and explanations on a screen is a total nightmare. Having the physical book open in front of her made studying so much easier. Highly recommend.

This book is excellent! The information and examples are great for practice. I will say though reading it as an E-book is not the best experience. I would recommend having a physical copy as the formatting in the e-book makes it difficult to follow.

This resource would be great for a PSAT/SAT prep course for high school students. It has the updated versions of the questions since the test has changed within the last few years. I enjoyed the examples and the structure of strategy, examples, practice and a key to check yourself with explanations. The only thing I would have liked to see what a full practice test at the end to put all the skills together.
I will definitely use this resource in my own classroom and recommend to students who are looking for additional practice work.

This book contains different levels of difficulties, a QR code to access more challenging questions, and several up-to-date reading and writing practice for PSAT/NMSQT. The introduction is helpful in understanding what expects you, and the questions and answers are high quality.

Many, many years ago, I took the PSAT. But before taking the test, I also took a very expensive, very boring test prep class. This book covered a lot of the test-taking details that I thought were most useful in the prep class, and the study plans are super helpful, too. I think the diagnostic test, practice questions, and answer keys are exactly what a student needs, because seeing what the questions actually look like is incredibly useful. Actually, there wasn't anything in this book that I didn't think was useful. Sure would've been nice to use this book instead of taking that prep class.
